Accreditation Process Simplified
One of the first questions we faced as we started HFCA was centered around accreditation. Should we do it? Which accreditation organization should we use? How soon should we pursue accreditation? What are the pros & cons of becoming accredited? We are pleased to be receiving clarity on these questions and more through much research, collaboration, and prayer.
The accreditation process will provide many benefits to HFCA, the students, and the parents, some of which include:
- Parents seeking the best Christian education for their children know an accredited school is committed to excellence.
- Students graduating from accredited Christian schools qualify for admission to most colleges and universities, and credits transfer between schools nationally and internationally.
- Instruction at an accredited school will improve through a continuous process of self-assessment designed to result in increased student achievement.
The typical process for becoming accredited will be one to three years, but we will begin operating from day one as if we were already accredited.
